Before saying yes to a MOTS-c shot

MOTS-c injections: read before you choose

A guide to understanding MOTS-c injections and checking the care behind an offer.

Start with the answer that matters

MOTS-c belongs to a group called peptides, short strings of the same building blocks that make proteins.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulates drugs in the US; as of September 30, 2026, it had approved no MOTS-c product.

FDA’s review found no published studies of people receiving MOTS-c. A search on September 30, 2026, also found no published results from a MOTS-c treatment trial.

As of September 30, 2026, a MOTS-c trial was looking for people to join, but had no results to read. A completed study tested a changed version called CB4211, a different substance.

That leaves a practical question: what would a care service be relying on? Keep that question in view before comparing offers.

Mouse work

Lee’s mouse study found less weight gain and helped prevent the body becoming less able to control blood sugar.

Human treatment

As of September 30, 2026, there were no published MOTS-c treatment results in people.

US medicine

MOTS-c had no FDA approval as of September 30, 2026.

Check who was studied: mice or people. Then check what the study found.

Make the next conversation useful

Begin with your goal, such as a concern about weight or energy. Ask a licensed doctor to look into that concern, explain the options and say which studies support each one.

Collect the questions you want to bring into that conversation.

Keep this in mind

A real peptide and an approved treatment are different things; MOTS-c has no US drug approval as of September 30, 2026.
